With asset management planning now required by many funding agencies, The Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) is pleased to invite you to participate in a free, two-day workshop on this very important topic. The goal of this workshop is to develop a practical asset management plan that you can use to optimize system performance and improve access to public funding. This workshop is ideal for utility managers, operators, board members and other utility staff.
Using a hands-on approach, RCAC will supply necessary expertise, resources and tools. You will bring your engineering plans, records, knowledge of your system, and a personal laptop. Together we will:
Create an asset inventory and asset map
Identify level of service goals and related performance targets
Establish the condition of your assets and prioritize their replacement/rehabilitation
Develop a long-term funding plan
Construct a timetable for implementing and reviewing your asset management plan
