For the week beginning Monday, April 15, 2019 at 8:00 am and ending Monday April 22, 2019 at 8:00 am Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 290 calls for service, had 362 self-initiated activity, and made 24 arrests. Of those arrests, 2 was for possession of controlled substance, 2 for Possession of drug paraphernalia, 0 DWI, 1 battery on a house hold member and 1 shoplifting.   

Included in the above calls for service are 10 alarms, 1 robbery, 1 fight, 13 domestic disturbance, 8 larceny, 3 criminal damage to property, 4 agency assist, 6 loud music, 6 suspicious vehicle, 1 arson, 6 disturbance, 8 shoplifting, 2 abandoned 911, 8 harassment, 29 welfare checks, 7 reckless driver, 2 civil matter, 12 citizen assist, 1 vehicle burglary, 3 motorist assist, 10 vehicle accident no injures, 10 private property accident, 1 hit & run accident.
