THURSDAY...

The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has
issued a Blowing Dust Advisory, which is in effect from 1 PM to
9 PM MDT Thursday.

This is in addition to a Wind Advisory which is also in effect
on Thursday from 1 PM to 9 PM MDT.

* TIMING AND WIND...Winds will increase by early afternoon,
peaking between 3 pm and 7 pm. Winds will diminish after dark.

* WINDS...West winds will have sustained speeds near 30 mph with
gusts 40 to 50 mph.

* VISIBILITY...Blowing dust will reduce the visibility to less
than one mile over much of the area with the visibility less
than a half mile across a few locations.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and low visibility will cause
dangerous driving conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of at least 30 mph are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

A Blowing Dust Advisory means that blowing dust will restrict
visibilities. Travelers are urged to use caution.
