Haaland Order The Latest Hit in Biden War on Energy

Albuquerque – Power The Future Communications Director Larry Behrens issued the following statement in response to the Biden Administration shutting off land in New Mexico for energy development:

“This latest slap in the face from Deb Haaland is no surprise because she’s never met an oil and gas moratorium she doesn’t love. Given the common-sense precautions already in place, this decision has nothing to do with protecting the land and everything to do with protecting Joe Biden’s green campaign donors. Make no mistake, if someone wanted to take over New Mexico’s lands with Chinese-made solar panels, Deb Haaland would be the first to cut the ribbon.”

PTF Calls on Congress to Investigate Kerry and Biden's Secret Climate Office

Washington, D.C. - A bombshell report from Real Clear Investigations and Judicial Watch is cracking open the door hiding President Biden’s secret climate office. Since the beginning of the Biden Administration, John Kerry has served as “Climate Envoy” at the State Department and repeatedly refused to answer questions about his job and the role. According to the report, Kerry’s secret agency involves up to 45 people and spent $16.5 million in taxpayer dollars in 2022.

“When Joe Biden forces executive orders and weaponizes his administration for the green agenda, it’s only fair to ask if John Kerry’s secret office is really pulling the strings,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “In light of this troubling report, Congress must subpoena Kerry and investigate his secret office because the public deserves to know who is wielding power behind the scenes. Given his proclivity to fly around the world negotiating foreign policy without any congressional oversight, the beneficiary of these deals is not the American people but the Chinese Communist Party. The Biden Administration has declared war on American energy, now let’s find out who is really calling the shots. ”

Biden Uses Green Agenda to Weaponize DOJ

Washington, D.C. - The Biden Administration announced today they are suing West Virginia coal companies with ties to Governor Jim Justice. The lawsuit, brought by the Department of Justice, arrives just over a month after Governor Justice announced his candidacy for Senate.

“It’s not enough that Joe Biden declared a war on coal, but he now he’s also weaponized his administration to go after political opponents all in the name of the green agenda,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Make no mistake, if Governor Justice owned a wind farm that killed thousands of bald eagles, Joe Biden would gladly look the other way. Joe Biden continues to use West Virginia as a political football in his fight against fossil fuels and hurting the hard-working people of The Mountain State.”

Unanimous Supreme Court Water Decision Smacks Biden's EPA

Washington, D.C. - Issuing a 9 to 0 decision, the Supreme Court again ruled against President Biden’s administration this week. The unanimous ruling against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is the second time in less than a year the agency has lost in court. Since Thursday’s ruling, some members of Congress have accused the court of a partisan decision even though not a single justice ruled in favor of the EPA.

In response to the ruling, Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future issued the following statement:

“The Biden Administration thinks it has unlimited power to makeup laws without Congressional legislation and in clear violation of the rights and freedoms guaranteed us in the Constitution. Joe Biden is using every office and every agency in his administration to force an agenda he knows would never make it through Congress. Supporters of the President’s failed position can cry all they want, but their agenda is so out of touch that even a tightly-divided Supreme Court joined together to rule against them.”

NYC Mayor Wants Residents to Disclose and Decarbonize Their Food

Washington, D.C. - Despite a massive crime crisis, New York City Mayor Eric Adams is asking residents “to commit to decarbonizing food purchases 25% by 2030.” As reported in Just The News, Mayor Adams is asking businesses, non-profits and other institutions to disclose their current “food environment” so they can then receive advice from the city on how to achieve “more healthy, delicious, plant-based meals.”

“Rampant crime is sending New York City to hell in a handbasket, and Mayor Adams wants people to submit their meal plan for his approval,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Besides the food, the most sickening part of this program is the copycats it will spawn from failed green politicians all over the country. New Yorkers should do the same thing they did with Mayor Bloomberg’s soda ban and throw it in the trash.”

EPA's Latest Extreme Decree Will Cut Power and Raise Costs

Washington, D.C. - Today, President Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed a sweeping new mandate aimed at America’s power plants. Under the EPA’s proposed rule, most traditional energy power plants would have to undergo major renovations or shut down entirely in 17 years. The proposed mandate arrives less than a year after the Supreme Court ruled against the EPA for overreach of their powers in the landmark ruling West Virginia v. Environmental Protection Agency.

“Joe Biden is hell bent on finishing the war on coal that Barack Obama launched more than a decade ago, ignoring Congress, the Supreme Court and reality in the process,” said Daniel Turner, Founder and Executive Director for Power The Future. “Over the last year, the Biden Administration has tried to take away nearly every appliance in our house and now he’s after the electricity that makes them run, all by executive mandate. Good luck selling this job killer in states like West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania that rely on the industries Biden is seeking to destroy. In the United States, the President is accountable to the people, no matter how much Joe Biden wants to coronate himself as the Green King.”

PTF Supports Senator Manchin’s Vow to Stop Biden Nominees

Washington, D.C. - West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin is vowing to block every nominee to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) because of their misuse of authority. The EPA is expected to announce new rules over power plant requirements later this week. In response to Senator Manchin’s actions, Power The Future Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner issued the following statement:

“There is no doubt the Biden Administration is using every faceless bureaucrat at their disposal to push their extreme green agenda and it needs to stop right now. America’s families are still struggling under high energy costs because of Joe Biden’s war on fossil fuels. We urge Senator Manchin to hold fast to this commitment and not to buy any more false promises of compromise from Joe Biden.”

Governor's Elitist Climate Position Doesn't Help New Mexico

Albuquerque – New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is celebrating her latest appointment with the U.S. Climate Alliance today. The Governor will serve as co-chair-elect for the organization along with New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who this week signed a law banning gas stoves in new homes. The appointments occur as a recently released poll found both Lujan Grisham and Hochul among the 10 least popular governors in the nation.

“If Governor Lujan Grisham wants to audition for her next job, she could begin by helping New Mexico’s families instead of taking elitist positions that make life harder,” said Larry Behrens, Communications Director for Power The Future. “This is the same organization where Governor Lujan Grisham proudly declared her desire to transition from New Mexico’s energy industry. This is nothing more than another exercise in climate ego, but it will no doubt get her a first class ticket to the next plush junket labeled as a climate conference.”
